Archery for Beginners

         

This is an exciting fast-growing sport. The National Archery in the Schools Program is an international-style archery program, using State of the art Matthews compound bows. The archery skills in this class are taught with self-disciplined safe lessons. Archery is proven to improve focus, motivation, and attention while having Fun! 

 

Instructor: Yolanda Williges is a NASP (B.A.-1) Basic Archery 1 Instructor. She has a B.A. in Physical Education and is currently teaching the “Healthy Kids” Program at Deer Creek Elementary.

 

Class fee: $80.00 material costs include a T-Shirt and a string bow equipment rental fee

 

Location: Deer Creek School lower playground

 

Grades Day of Week Time Dates
4-8 ** Tuesdays and Thursdays  2:45-4:15

10/5, 10/7,10/12, 10/14, * , 10/26,10/28, 11/2, 11/4

 

 

*No class due to fall break

**Note: Seven Hills students are responsible to walk themselves over and get picked up at Deer Creek.

 

Archery-Intermediate-Advanced

(10 students Maximum)

 

This class is ONLY available to Students that have completed the N.A.S.P. Beginners course within the past 4 year. Students will go onto learning more target skills in a FUN way. They may get the opportunity to do some tournament type competition while respecting their classmates.
