Garden Fun

This class is specifically designed to engage students in learning about taking care of the Deer Creek garden and  orchard, details necessary for that as. well as how to enjoy  the myriad of activities that engage a student in learning more about the environment, how living organisms interact and most importantly how to build a self-sustaining garden.

Materials included.                                  School: Deer Creek Elementary 

                                                                Location: Greenhouse and garden area.

Instructor: Karen Meisenheimer is a Master Gardener from University of Maine. She worked for NCSD After School Child Care Program for 4 year. She has taught Science to 7-12 Grade students and was a Director of Environmental Education for Grades K-12.
