"Whats Cooking" at Seven Hills
In this "What's Cooking" class, students will be exploring the world of fresh, seasonal and local grown vegetables to create take home recipes while learning basic kitchen skills such as; measuring, chopping, shredding, prep, cook, menu plan, sanitize and kitchen safety.
Dairy, wheat and nuts (no peanuts) seeds could be used in recipes.
Please advise of any food/allergy restrictions. (12 students maximum).

Instructor: Karen Jarvis is a long time Nevada County resident. She is our Farm to School Liaison for Deer Creek and Seven Hills with Sierra Harvest. She ran the kitchen at a Coed H.S. Boarding School for 5 years, implementing and cooperatively educated students in teams the values and enjoyment of the kitchen.
