"Whats Cooking" at Seven Hills
In this "What's Cooking" class students are designed to learn seasonal, scratch made meals. We will also practice knife safety skills, recipe reading and basic kitchen equipment usage. Setting a table for group eating and clean up is encouraged. Breads, muffins, pasta, soups and salads are examples of weekly choices. (10 students maximum).

Instructor: Karen Jarvis is a long time Nevada County resident. She ran the kitchen at a Coed H.S. Boarding School for 5 years, implementing and cooperatively educated students in teams the values and enjoyment of the kitchen. She was liaison for Deer Creek and Seven Hills for 2 years with Sierra harvest and also seasonal Guest Chef in 9 local Schools, teaching quick, fresh, vegetarian snacks and meals.
