String Orchestra
This Beginning class expects that students have little or no experience with string instruments. However, any music literacy or ability on an other instrument ( even dissimilar) is extremely beneficial. Students will benefit a future in school band class convert into a full orchestra with string, wind, brass, and percussion instruments.
This Class is continuing into its third session this Spring session. Participantion in an after-scholl concert is expected by all students enrolled. CONCERT DATE: THURSDAY, MAY 30TH.
Materials: The school has limited number of string instruments, therefore, student participation may be limited by instrument sizes and quantities available. You must contact the instructor for instrument details.
Students could also bring their own instrument to class.
(String books will be provided for classroom use only.)
Location: Seven Hills Room H-1
Instructor: Mrs. Woldseth is currently the Seven Hills Middle School Music Teacher, and has an extensive background in teaching music in schools and many community environments. She is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, conductor, workshop clinician, and educator, as well as a performing and recording artist/musician.
