Get Crafty with BAKING

In this BAKING class students will use the context of Baking/desserts to explore creativity in the kitchen. They will learn about combining flavors, textures and ingredients while practicing basic kitchen skills; mixing, using a knife, rolling shaping and filing dough. Food safety and cleanup will also be covered.   (10 students maximum)

Instructor: Catherine (Kit) Lofgren has a BA in Geography along with 15 years of classroom and youth volunteer experience. She was also a sous chef for both a catering company and in a private household. Baking has been her passion since she was a kid.
