2024/2025 Annual Parent Notice & School Forms
Please find all forms needed for your review for the 2024/2025 Annual Parent Notice as well as other forms you might need during the school year. Signatures and agreements will be collected electronically. If you are unable to do this, please contact the school office to provide hard copy signatures.
The following waivers are required for ALL activities, field trips on or off campus including enrichment and childcare. Signing these waivers at the beginning of the year will cover ALL activities your child may participate in for the entire 2024/2025 school year.
The Nevada City School District (NCSD) authorizes students to use technology provided by the district as necessary for instructional purposes. The use of district technology is a privilege permitted at the district's discretion and is subject to the conditions and restrictions set forth in applicable Board policies, administrative regulations, and the Acceptable Use Policy (link below).
The district reserves the right to suspend access at any time, without notice, for any reason. The district expects all students to use technology responsibly in order to avoid potential problems and liability. The district uses a content management system that provides reasonable restrictions on the sites, material, and/or information that students may access through the system. Please make sure to review the acceptable use policy with your child.
Students in grades 6-8 participate in a one to one program and are assigned a Chromebook upon entry in those grade levels. The Chromebook and power cord should be returned to the school as part of the check out process. The Chromebook contract is the agreement that your student will take care of the device. We offer an insurance coverage program that is included in this agreement for $25.00/year.
Note: Cost to replace a Chromebook is $350.00 without insurance. You can see coverage details in the contract.
